Behavioural Standards

1.    The definitions of the STAXY Platform Terms and Conditions of Use apply to this document.
2.    Drivers shall meet the following Driver Behaviour Standards:
(i)    to respect all laws, regulations and codes applicable to driving and the vehicle;
(ii)    to drive safely and within all applicable speed limits;
(iii)    not to take any risk when driving;
(iv)    not to take any product or substance that may impair your attention or your abilities to drive vigilantly and completely safely;
(v)    to behave appropriately and responsibly during the Journey, and in compliance with the spirit of ride-sharing; and
(vi)    not to refuse any Passenger based on race, sex, gender, colour, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy or age (if over 18).

3.    Passengers shall meet the following Passenger Behaviour Standards:
(i)    to behave appropriately during the Journey so as not to hinder the concentration or driving of the Driver or the peace and quiet of the other Passengers;
(ii)    to respect the Driver’s vehicle and its cleanliness;
(iii)    not to carry during a Journey any item, goods, substance or animal that could hinder the driving and concentration of the Driver;
(iv)    not to carry during a Journey any item, goods, substance or animal the nature, possession or carriage of which is against the law; and
(v)    not to refuse any Journey or Driver based on race, sex, gender, colour, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy or age (if over 18).
4.    Both Drivers and Passengers will meet the following Behaviour Standards in their dealings with one another and during the Journey:
(i)    Be respectful and polite;
(ii)    Be truthful;
(iii)    Abide by any legal duty owed to the other party, such as a duty of care to the other person;
(iv)    Not be obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
(v)    Not bully, insult, intimidate or humiliate;
(vi)    Not be threatening, abusive or invade another's privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety;
(vii)    Not harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person;
(viii)    Not impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person; and
(ix)    Not advocate, promote, incite any party to commit, or assist any unlawful or criminal act.
