Our story

STAXY was born at the Universities of Bath and Exeter, where our founders experienced first-hand how difficult and expensive it was for students to travel to and from campus. The options were limited, either costly train tickets or single-occupancy car journeys that were both inefficient and unsustainable.

So, we built a carpooling platform tailored for students, helping thousands save money, reduce emissions, and build travel communities.

But we soon discovered this challenge extended far beyond campus. Whether you’re travelling to work, a football match, or a live event, finding the best way to get from A to B, affordably, conveniently, and sustainably, is harder than it should be .

That’s where STAXY evolved: a powerful MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service) platform designed for organisations and events to deliver seamless, data-driven, and low-carbon travel solutions.

Today, we work with universities, sports clubs, corporates, and major events to solve mobility at scale, making travel better for people, organisations, and the planet.
